Step 1

You will need only a single 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper Some tape.  I suggest the Scotch Magic 3/4 inch wide. You will also need a pair of scissors.  I like to use a good quality typing paper as it has good resistance to humidity.  Your work area should be a clean and dry surface.

Step 2

Fold the paper in half, widthwise as shown.  Make a crisp crease with your fingernail. After creasing you can unfold the paper.

Step 3

Now we want to establish a distance that is 1/2 from the center fold to the edge of the paper.  You can use a ruler to do this, but I find easier to simply fold the corner to the original centerline fold and then make a small crease in the paper to identify the center.

Step 4

Both sides are marked with a small crease. Do not make a fold the full width of the paper.

Step 5

Now fold the corner as shown, lining up with the small crease.  This should be at a 90 degree angle, but you don't have to worry about being exact, as we are not talking rocket science here.
